Life Is Simple

When you are asking for apples and life hands you lemons, make lemonade!

If you’re on your way out and it starts to rain, at least you don’t have to water the plants anymore.

It’s a matter of seeing things in perspective. The benefits may not be immediate or obvious, but you have to know this for sure:

There will be problems.
There will be struggles.

Have faith. Enjoy life!
Take it easy.

If today you are picking up the grapes, tomorrow you’ll be drinking the wine!

All In The Attitude

  We choose how we see people. When we want to like someone we can be so tolerant. When we find someone we seem to dislike, we focus on their faults - thus irritating us of their existence. It’s not always other people’s behavior that determines how we feel about them. Sometimes its out attitude.

Through Seasons

If you give up when it’s winter, you’ll surely miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summerand the fulfillment of your fall. Don’t let the pain of one season destroy the joys of all the rest. Don’t just judge life by one difficult season but instead persevere through the difficult patches for better ones are sure to come, some time later!

Moods Of A Woman

Moods Of A Woman

An angel of truth and a dream of fiction, she’s afraid of a wasp, will scream at a mouse;
but will tackle a stranger alone in the house.

Sour as vinegar, sweet as a rose;
she’ll kiss you one minute then turn up her nose.

She’ll win you in rage, enchant you in silk;
She’ll be stronger than brandy, milder than milk.

At times she’ll be vengeful, merry and sad;
She’ll hate you like poison and love you like mad.

Moods Of A Man

Hungry.
Horny.
Sleepy.

A Brilliant Mind Is..

A brilliant mind is useless without a fighting heart
because in life’s challenges,
you make an impression with what you say
but you make a name with what you do.

I haven’t really given it thought, how much I’ve done in this life of mine. I’m sure I’ve said a lot, some of which I regret but I’m generally proud of most of what I have said. For the things I’ve done, well, I’m not sure if I have done anything of significance but I certainly must have done something good to deserve the Queen Bee-atch.

An exchange of vows is up on our list, hopefully we can do it next year. I’m a bit nervous but I know this would be one great responsibility that I’d be more than willing to conquer at any given lifetime.

Okay, I’m getting a little too mushy now and I’m straying from the topic.  Oh well, love does that I guess! Haha! Cheers!

A Message From John Wesley

"Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can."

I recieved this text message from one of my church mates. Its actually a quote from a name I didn’t recognize so I dug up a little and this is what turned up. I hope its as informative for you guys as it is for me.

John Wesley (June 17, 1703 - March 2, 1791) was an 18th-century Anglican clergyman and Christian theologian who was an early leader in the Methodist movement. Methodists, under Wesley’s direction, became leaders in many social justice issues of the day including prison reform and abolitionism movements. Wesley’s strength as a theologian lay in his ability to combine seemingly opposing theological stances. His greatest theological achievement was his promotion of what he termed "Christian perfection", or holiness of heart and life. Wesley insisted that in this life, the Christian could come to a state where the love of God, or perfect love, reigned supreme in one’s heart. His evangelical theology, especially his understanding of Christian perfection, was firmly grounded in his sacramental theology. He continually insisted on the general use of the means of grace (prayer, Scripture meditation, and Holy Communion, etc.) as the means by which God transformed the believer. Throughout his life, Wesley remained within the Church of England and insisted that his movement was well within the bounds of the Anglican Church. His maverick use of church policy put him at odds with many within the Church of England, though toward the end of his life he was widely respected.

Everyday choose to heal and not hurt
to forgive and not to despise
to preserve and not quit
to smile and not frown
to love and not to hate.
Make each day a pleasant day
For the simple joys that you bear inside
will reflect itself upon you
and eventually affect the people around you.

if you hold them in your hands

but when shared you will realize

how big and precious they are.

Let the silence of the night

give you enough strength for tomorrow.

Let the stars light up your face

and let the love of those around you embrace you,

not just tonight but for the rest of your life.

Learn from the Garden

posted: Sun 10th Sep, 2006, categories: SMS Stuff

A garden teaches us that good things do not come up automatically. We have to toil the land and look after the plants.

Virtue and goodness in our life are the same. They are not automatic, they need work and care.

Keep on cultivating and caring for the virtue and goodness of your heart.

When You’re Inlove

Tin sent this (Thanks!! =)

When you’re inlove you know it for sure ‘cause there’s no middle ground. No buts, no doubts, no I-still-need-to-figure-things-out sort of crap. Love grabs you and wraps its arms around you and you helplessly surrender. Yes! Love makes you take a LOT of risks but LOVE is WORTH EVERY RISK YOU TAKE. Its worth every tear, every laugh, and every sleepless night.

Whew! How true!
