memories..
What makes the past special is the way each one remembers the other when they are apart.
They miss the talks, the laughters and the times they’ve been together.
Life changes but memories do not.

what’s your reward?
a 20% Discount on purchases

Ha ha. Its corny, I know. But give it some thought. With the lifestyle we have nowadays, it would already be a reward getting to that age. Another bonus it would be if we are in good health. Otherwise, we’d probably use the 20% discount more often on maintainance drugs than on food and transportation expenses. I wonder how old I would be before my body start failing?
"Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends."
-J.R.R. Tolkien
Surely we all in one way or another thought or actually even given off a lot of energy wishing someone to "drop dead". How can we not think of such an atrocious end for someone we incredibly hate? By all means I will make sure that I owe this particular person nothing that can be taken against me and his/her death shall be a reward.
But of course that’s just me and my "evil twin" thoughts.
I can’t give life, at least not right away on demand, and therefore I must not wish (too hard) for someone else’s loss of it.
I don’t want to be the one to take blame for the coulda would have been’s so I step back with a little bow and leave faith, if not fate, take its course.
Life is tricky isn’t it?
You want things you can’t get.
You get things you don’t want.
You get things you used to want but not anymore.
When you finally got what you want, you want something else.
When you finally want what you get, you get something else.
Funny how we make life seem absurd when it’s not.
This text actually got me searching about "A Stoic Wandering" and I found a result about Wandering in Ancient Greek Culture. I have yet to read the review but for the moment my eyes are getting heavy (and that’s no hypnotic chant). I slept early today when I should have slept last night. Maybe I’ll wake up early tomorrow, but then again if another crazy idea comes crashing in (like playing a couple of PC games, followed by another game, and another.. and yet another) maybe I won’t be able to wake up early tomorrow morning. In any case, if I do get to wake up tomorrow at around 8 tops my body would probably refuse to get up. Stoical? Haha! Not really. But enough of that. Time for some shut eye.
The answer on how to become happy can be found in your own home.

The wall says "Be strong"
The ceiling says "Aim high"
The door says "Be open"

The window says "Learn to give and take"

The clock says
"Time is gold"
The calendar says "Live each days as if it is the last"

The cabinet says "Keep things in order"

The bed says "Take time to relax"

and the lamp says "Be the light"

You don’t have to look too far to become happy.
You just need to know your place and love what you already have.

Have you ever observed a rice field and noticed which heads are bent and which ones stand up straight?
Well, the empty heads are standing tall and high, while the heads that are filled with grain are bending low.
Indeed, the true great and strong people are humble and gentle, for true giants don’t mind bowing low.
"Never let go of anyone that you couldn’t go a day
without thinking about.
There just might be a very good reason
why they’re always on your mind.
Sometimes, it’s the brain that knows too well
what the heart tries so hard to deny."
The air is rancid
The single bed is roomy
The food - stale
and the phones could not wait to announce your call.
Recently, Gwen recieved a message from a stranger. And as a ritual Gwen & I have to get rid of annoying ex’s I am the one who replied to the stranger (and vice versa when I get messages from strangers). Amazingly she introduced herself and asked for my NASAL! Gwen & I were both shocked! We had no idea what she was asking for. We later on figured out that she was asking for my Name, Age, Sex, Location (but i think that should be simply NASL, unless I missed out on something)
The message that I was conveying to her is that we (indicating Gwen’s number & mine) do not welcome conversations from strangers especially those who want to be "txtmates" of ours. I made it very clear. And I think I could remember Gwen saying that I was too polite. After a few minutes I recieved a message from the stranger and this is what she said "Sure why not? Anong name mo?"
I specifically told her that we would appreciate it if she would no longer send us messages. Well, actually she is now texting my number instead of Gwen’s. After a series of messages we discovered that she could not understand English and that we had to translate our previous messages to her into Tagalog (not for her sake but ours). When we sent her the tagalog messages she was furious and started calling us names (in tagalog of course. Oh except for the word "gigolo". She wasn’t sure if she was talking to a man or a woman)
Our conversation in tagalog proved to be a bit difficult and we had to resort to english to be able to say what we mean. In doing so, we just recieve the messages we sent to her. She’d just send it back to us. We actually resorted to being rude to her (in english) and she would just send us back our message. However, tried translating everything we said from english to tagalog and she bombards us with all the loathsome words she can come up with.
This girl recognizes no authority, no title, no woman for that matter. The words she used are quite offensive for a woman coming from another female of the species. But that’s another subject. She simply did not understand english. And when the message is translated for her (yes! every tagalog word - which is not very easy) she freaks out with all the hate she could muster!
Instead of admitting that she is a nuisance, she digs her own grave by continously using stupid and odious words. Maybe the words she used could mean something for others but I strongly doubt it. I could be wrong though. Here are some of the words she used whenever I translate my messages into tagalog : SHADAH… (what follows is a complete text message) SHEDA VODKHA….PUYAYI….GGOLO….ARI MY GTO….NMP…..TMNC…. (if you understand any of this please let me know through a comment or you can send me an email)
She triggered a constant feeling of detestation in me and I hope and pray that the flow of hateful words in my head would cease.
